Hunting is one of several themes found in Cedar Mesa rock art of the Ancient Puebloans. Bighorn sheep are said to be the "deer" of that era, a plentiful gmae species. Cedar Mesa holds the history of the Ancient Puebloan People in canyon ruins, petroglyphs and pictographs, and in 12,000 years of occupation left behind. Thousands of these Native American sites remain undiscovered and in need of protection. On December 4, 2017, Bears Ears National Monument was reduced by an unprecedented 85%; Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument by 50%. iLCP rapid photography expedition to Bears Ears National Monument, Utah - December, 2017
